God is in control

Psalm 24:1-2 (NLT) The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to Him. For He laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths.

Sometimes I have to be reminded that God is in control. Sometimes I have to be reminded that He already has it figured out and my job is to walk it out. Sometimes I have to be reminded that God knows, He just knows, and I can rest and trust in Him.

Psalm 139:2-7 & 15-16 (NLT) You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place Your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for my to understand! I can never escape from Your Spirit! I can never escape from Your presence! You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment laid out before a single day had passed.
